Welcome to Vision Therapeutic Services
Hi, I’m Katie
I’m a integrative counsellor supporting adults, young people and children who may be struggling with anxiety, trauma, emotional difficulties or life changes.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Psychotherapists & Counsellors). And also a Accredited Member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society)
I have a specialist interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals, as well as those affected by sight loss.
Reaching out for support can feel like a big step. You might not have the right words yet, or things may feel like they’ve become too much to manage on your own. Whatever has brought you here, you are welcome.
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can slow things down, talk things through, and feel truly heard at your own pace. My aim is to help you feel safe enough to explore what’s going on, without pressure or judgement.
I work integratively, which means I tailor therapy to you as an individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from person-centred, psychodynamic, and CBT approaches, depending on what feels most helpful for you.
I am based on the Wirral, offering face-to-face sessions in Wallasey and in Bromborough of a weekend. I also offer online and telephone counselling to promote accessibility and inclusivity, so you can access support in a way that best suits your needs.
Alongside my counselling work, I have many years of experience supporting children, young people and families in education, community and specialist services. This has shaped a compassionate and grounded approach, a belief that everyone deserves to feel understood and supported.
Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, sight loss, neurodivergence, or a difficult period in your life, I will work alongside you to help build understanding, resilience and confidence at a pace that feels right for you.

How I work
My approach is centred on building a safe, trusting relationship where you feel able to explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace.
I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs, helping you make sense of your thoughts and feelings while developing practical ways forward.
Who I work with
I support a range of clients at different stages of life, offering a space where you can feel heard and understood.
Special interests
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals experiencing:
